The Good Works Trust couldn’t do what it does without the support we receive from these organisations: Big thanks to the Lion Foundation and particularly their North Shore retailers. Grants from the Lion Foundation supported over 220 of the most vulnerable whanau on the Shore at Christmas and helps us with our operational costs. Our annual Christmas Shop simply would'nt be possible without this support. Nga mihi Lion Foundation The Lotteries Grants Board supports organisation's like ours to pay our bills so we can concentrate on the the mahi. For us that means help with our wages and operational costs, and support for our kaupapa around permanently reducing food insecurity in our community. Nga mihi Lotteries - we really appreciate your support. We are proud to call Driveline Albany our sponsor/partners. Not only do they provide and maintain our van, they're generous donors and supporters of our mahi. Kindred spirits in the kaupapa of the Good Works Trust. Having KiwiHarvest deliver rescued food each week enables us to direct our limited resources to purchasing things we really need. Kiwi Harvest partners with local supermarkets to redirect useable, nourshing food, (and some treats), to organisations like us, it's better for the community and the environment. Bakers Delight Milford provide surplus bread 7 days a week to charities on the North Shore. Their generosity means we can provide, not just bread, but sticky buns to lift the spirits, cheesy scrolls for lunch boxes, pizzas for a hearty lunch or even hot cross buns at Easter. Filling hungry tummies across the Shore every day. Paws of Hope Foundation is a compassionate charity dedicated to ensuring that no pet goes hungry. For some of our clients their pet is their only friend, a source of unconditional love and affection. We know some of our clients will go without food themselves before they'd let their pet go hungry. Thanks to Paws of Hope we can provide high quality pet food so no-one needs to go without. We know that when parents are having to make tough choices between putting food on the table and paying the rent, things like Christmas presents and treats aren't always possible. For the last 3 years we have been able to provide quality new toys to at Christmas for whanau subscribed to our Christmas Shop program - thanks to the Kindness Collective and their partners.
