There is also a free meal in Takapuna every Tuesday 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm;
Taitamariki hall opens at 5:30 pm for cups of tea, coffee, and showers. Dinner served at approx 6:30 pm.

Showers and Laundry Services are available from Orange Sky. Based at the Salvation Army in Glenfield every 2nd Tuesday.

Privacy Statement

We collect personal information including your name, contact information and your interactions with us in order to provide our goods and services to you.

Besides our staff, we may share and receive information about your use of our services from other community service providers (e.g. other food banks, charities, churches, agencies) in our area to ensure your needs are met and to ensure we make good decisions about our limited resources and for planning the goods and services we provide.

We keep the personal information we hold safe by storing it in access-controlled folders and only allowing certain staff to have access.

Close off for food parcel requests is 11.00am. The GWT Food Bank operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only. No weekends.

We are closed Wednesdays to run social supermarket.

Deliveries: Our drivers are volunteers so we cannot guarantee a same day delivery.

We are a North Shore only service. We cover Rosedale, East Coast Bays, Forrest Hill, Glenfield/Kaipatiki, Sunnynook, Hillcrest, Takapuna, Devonport, Bayswater, Northcote, Birkenhead, Birkdale and Beachhaven. We cut off at Albany/Greenhithe.

Meet -up arrangements will be made with you are homeless or are living in your car. Meet-ups will be in a public space such as a community hub carpark or outside the Library, Citizens Advice Bureau or other easy to park public area.

Please note that food parcels contain perishables (fresh produce, eggs, meat, etc).
